My stock covers a wide range of subjects, and all categories from paperback reading copies to antiquarian rarities. The stock is general, with lots of 20th Century fiction, and non-fiction concentrated in the braod spectrum of biography / history / politics / social science / phil;osophy / theology, and aimed at appealing equally to the general reader or the academic.
This site is constantly updated, so (barring accidents) you can be confident that any book you see in the listings is available. I do describe all books as accurately as I am able, and do try to list all significant faults or damage. I do use some abbreviations (for example, VG for very good), and I do use the commonly accepted standard grades for condition - Good / Very Good / Fine etc. I try to be conservative in my gradings, as I'd rather lose a sale than have a disappointed customer.
I try always to note inscriptions, bookplates etc, but may - especially if the book is graded Good - not consider slight browning, corner bumping, previous owner's names etc. serious enough to mention.+++ if in doubt, please do ask before you order.
